Dr. Seyyed Mohammad Nasser Taghavi (1970) is an Islamic theologian and philosopher. He studied theology at Teheran University and at the theological high school in Qom. He had his first degree from The Department of Political Sciences with the thesis named ‘Expediency in thought of political Islam’. Then he did a doctorate with the study of ‘Democratic liberalism and religious sovereignty’. He studied law at Qom. At the same time, he was studying philosophy and mysticism for over 10 years. Among his works; ‘''Rule and expediency''’, ''Politics in Quotations- Essays on philosophy and political thought''’, ‘''About the term of Global Village''’ , ‘''Badeye Asrar'' (a collection of poems) and those two works, that is awarded of best research book, with the title ‘ ''Religion and democratic essentials''’ and ‘''Durabilility of political thought in Iran''’ can be considered. After completing his study, he became an associate of scientific committee.
